Akamatul Meqa'b, Yemen

Rabeha Solar has donated and installed 123rd Solar Street light installation in Yemen. This installation took place in Akamatul Meqa'b, Yemen.

The village of Akamatul Meqa'b remains absolutely dark after sunset as electricity is rarely available here. Rabeha Solar have installed 7 solar street lights here and now this tiny village lights up after sunset. Entrance of Mawaid Burhaniyah building gets enough light now so Mumineen do not have to collect their thaali in the dark any more. Mumineen who come to the masjid for namaz do not have to walk in the dark at night.

We thank Shaikh Murtaza Bhai Dahodwala and family of Boston, USA for donating all the solar street lights. We also thank Amil Saheb of these towns for taking keen interest in the solar project and their assistance during the installation.

The cost of installing a single solar system for a house is US $480. The cost of one Solar Street Lamp installation is US $180. A single solar water pump installation costs US $2,900. We plan to install solar systems in the houses of hundreds of needy mumineen and if you wish to donate in this noble cause, please contact us.
