Kaka Akela roza complex in Khambat, India

Rabeha Solar has donated and installed the second Solar Water Pump in Kaka Akela roza complex in Khambat, India.

About 900 years ago, Kaka Akela / Kaki Akela in Khambat were one of the first few families in India to convert to Imaan. They in their farm had a well (Kuwo) which had dried up. At the hands of Maulayi Abdullah Saheb they witnessed the moajezah (miracle) ‐ water returned in the well and they accepted Imaan.

Today water is extracted from this historical well via a water pump but due to the shortage of electricity it does not work regularly. This roza complex depends on this well for its water supply for drinking water, maintenance of trees, cultivation of agriculture products and breeding of animals such as cows and goats, etc.

Rabeha has now installed a Solar Water Pump here which will pump water out of the well for many hours, free of electricity bill.

The cost of installing a single solar system for a house is US $480. The cost of one Solar Street Lamp installation is US $180. A single solar water pump installation costs US $2,900. We plan to install solar systems in the houses of hundreds of needy mumineen and if you wish to donate in this noble cause, please contact us.
